Geographic Routing – Smart 800 numbers route calls based upon set criteria


In answer to our customers need to provide a tool which would take a call from an advertising media and deliver it to the proper sales location, CallCap developed our own Geographic Routing Solution. 

This application is used when your company has many sales offices located in diverse geographic locations. As calls arrive you need them to be directed to the sales office that is the closest geographic match to the callers location. It is especially useful if you have franchise locations that want to ensure that prospect calls generated by company ad programs are equally or contractually forwarded to the correct location.

The process is very simple but the technology is cutting edge.
 
Geo-Routing is accomplished by assigning a smart, national toll free, call tracking number to our customer. This smart 800 number is then placed into ALL of the advertising media that a company uses. With the help of our customer a call 'map' is created based upon the sales/franchise locations that the calls need to be directed to. Once developed, this map tells our system where you want the call to go based upon the cdirections set forth by the customer. Once our system is put in place and calls stream into our software, we identify the origination point of the call and direct it to the correct end location specified in the 'map'. 

We offer two routing options:

1. Zip Code Routing - Calls are routed instantaneously and seamlessly by zip code

  • As generated calls come into our system the zip code of the origination number is identified using our reverse dip software.
  • Once the origin is located the prospect enters the 'map' we have created with the customers input for the correct handling of the call.
  • From the 'map' the destination number is identified.
  • The call is then sent to the correct destination sales office closest to the caller.
  • All call tracking information is collected
  • All normal CallCap reporting features & call recordings are available on all calls.


2. Area Code Routing - Calls are routed instantaneously and seamlessly by area code

  • As generated calls come into our system the area code of the origination number is identified using our reverse dip software.
  • Once the origin is located the prospect enters the 'map' we have created with the customers input for the correct handling of the call.
  • From the 'map' the destination number is identified.
  • The call is then sent to the correct destination sales office closest to the caller.
  • All call tracking information is collected.
  • All normal CallCap reporting features & call recordings are available on all calls.
